"Before seeing Sarah I'd been having stress related migraines three or four times a week and was taking beta blockers to try and stop them. They weren't working and I was at the end of my tether. After three treatments with Sarah my migraines stopped - what a life saver for me!"

"Just wanted to say a big thank-you for straightening me out and making me a lot faster on my bike. The day after you straightened my back, I won my first race in my track cycling league.  I was a long way behind the league leader at that time but I kept on winning and eventually won the league a couple of weeks ago: www.scrl.co.uk

I'm sure that your treatments and my big improvements in race performances is no co-incidence. My back has been a limiting factor in my cycling for years. Since the Bowen treatments I have felt so much faster and more comfortable on the bike."

"My 3 1/2 yr old son, Owen, had fallen from a chair. He was scared, uncontrollably wailing and unable to move his neck without pain. Nothing I could do would comfort him. The first few Bowen moves from Sarah had an instant calming effect and within minutes he was completely relaxed. Owen said to me the other day Sarah has magic hands". I would agree"
Shirah Slark, Nutritionist, Ringmer
"Following a spinal injury, 5 years ago, I have been unable to sit for more than a few minutes without experiencing extreme sciatic and lower lumbar pain. Following recovery from a spinal injury, I am now relaxed enough to be able to sit for much longer periods. I feel very blessed to have met Sarah."
Janet O’Rheadon, Artist, Lewes
"I always notice a definite upturn in my energy after receiving a Bowen treatment with Sarah. Initially feeling rather spaced out and tired, then after that I feel terrific. I have a very busy schedule at present, and Bowen has helped me to keep going. Thank you so much Sarah."

“As a Critical Care Staff Nurse of more than 20 years, my back was put under a lot of strain, culminating in an accident back in September 2006, where I slipped a disc. I ended up needing more than 6 months off sick and was in a lot of pain with intermittent numbness in my foot.

Following an article in the Sunday Times, I decided to give the 'Bowen Technique' a try as none of the conventional treatments had helped. After my 1st treatment with Sarah, I had some relief but after 3 treatments I am much calmer and more relaxed now almost back to my normal level of activity. I am very impressed with Sarah and will continue treatments with heron a regular basis. Thank you.”

“When you have had an accident and hurt the lower part of your back and right leg and no one can give you a definite prognosis, you are prepared to try anything! I did, trying a number of other treatments and while helping to a certain extent, I was still on crutches and maximum painkillers after 7 years. I had never heard of The Bowen Technique but having been told about it and looked it up on the website, I decided to give it a go. I was not expecting an overnight miracle, but the results after 4 months have been amazing.”
Henrietta Usbourne, Teacher, W Sussex
“I wanted to let you know that I feel so much better after the last treatment! Also, my shoulders are much looser. Thank you so much!”

"Having been diagnosed with Polymyagia Rhuematica in 2007 I was prescribed steroids, the only treatment available, to deal with the pain. Two years later I fell and experienced extreme back pain and after having an MRI scan, I had 5 spinal fractures. I was 58 at the time and was diagnosed with osteoporosis which had been brought on by having the steroid treatment!

Since that time I have very gradually been weening myself off all these harmful drugs but the downside of course has been the return of pain and a need for daily doses of co-codermol.

Since my fractures my back muscles have been so stiff but it only took Sarah a moment to know that I was still in constant spasm and was therefore in a "guarding" mode which restricted my movement.

When I visited Sarah I had had my fill of medications and was looking for a more global approach. I have to say I was somewhat sceptical but after my first treatment I felt like Sarah had unlocked my muscles and for the first time I had an ease of movement that I had forgotten I could have.

Sarah has a wonderful way of putting you at ease and I made her very aware of the fact that I was scared to have my body touched as many consultants had put me in painful positions. She could not have been more sympathetic and was very gentle but so effective.

Mine is a chronic disease and I imagine I will feel the need to see Sarah from time to time to keep me going. Incidentally, my intake of painkillers is so very much reduced now and my muscles are much more relaxed which enables me to do more and walk more and not feel worn out and full of pain afterwards.

Starting out as somewhat of a sceptic, I have the utmost respect for Sarah and Bowen."
